2012 Recap

Nothing much happened in 2012. I was trying to save the whole year, but it’s still not enough. I did not reach my milestone. Or it is because I’m expecting too much of myself. I probably should learn to be more appreciative, optimistic and let go of the negativity in me.

For the highlights of last year:

January – Quit my first job because I got hired with a better-paying job; Created a Beauty blog called Glitteresque.
March – Got my health insurance; Invested in “Mutual Fund”; Got braces!
April – Bought my own portable Wifi
May – Had our Java bootcamp, which we all passed. YAY!
June – invested in Stocks
August – Built a site for SheMatters; Renewed my Rawrbie blog.
September – Retooled to PeopleSoft capability. Passed our bootcamp as Top 1!
October – celebrated 2nd year anniversary with Pawikan apart; learned a baked goods and dishes!
November – Found out that the “Mutual Fund” I invested is VUL and decided to cancel it. Lost 22.5k 🙁
December – Invested in Money Market

2012 was not as “BOOM” or thrilling as others. It was pretty much a struggle for financial freedom and most of the time was spent in work. I shall strive to make 2013 more exciting while saving. 🙂
