I’m always on a lookout for a foundation with medium to full coverage without the heavy feeling on the skin. Enter, Ever Bilena Advance Studio Finish Stick Foundation! 🙂 I’m a follower of some Filipino Youtube gurus, and one of them, Janah, mentioned this in one of her videos. We had the same skin type and skin tone so I decided to try it. I also used this foundation in the shade Creme, but I’m going to review the Beige shade.
Product Info: Widely used by professionals, this lightly scented studio finish foundation creates moderate coverage with a natural matte finish. This foundation contains Vitamin E that helps moisturize the skin. Can also conceal dark circles, redness and minor skin imperfections. Just swivel up the barrel and viola! The cream foundation will blend easily on the skin without caking or flaking effects.
Availability: Can be bought in SM Department Stores, Watsons, or in any Ever Bilena counter nationwide.
Shades: Creme, Beige, Miel, and Soleil.
I hesitated in buying this because it looks quite peachy, but when it was sitting on my skin, it actually looked good. It can be used as a concealer as well because it has orange undertones, which can counter dark circles. I must say, I’m impressed! I had this on my face for about 6 hours and even though my oils are peeking through already, I still look flawless! Yay! It accentuated my lines after that long, though.
Look at that coverage! It definitely covered my underye circles and evened out my skin tone. Its consistency is thick and is of medium to high coverage. This product is good for photoshoots, as the name implies. 😉 And I must say, it delivers. If you have oily/combination skin, definitely set this with powder to make it last longer. Otherwise, it is good as it is, you can see the glow it gives my face even with just the foundation alone.
Here is a swatch of the product on my NC25 skin.
- Made my pores appear smaller.
- Nice coverage.
- Conceals minor spots.
- Give me that flawless finish.
- Pretty long lasting.
- There are only 4 shades available: Creme, Beige, Miel, Soleil.
- May accentuate fine lines.
- It has that annoying cosmetic smell that won’t go away for a long time. >.<
- Use a foundation brush or sponge in applying the product.
- Set it with powder immediately.
- If you are of a lighter skin tone, you may want to use Creme as it is much lighter than Beige.
Rating: 7/10 — this could have been rated higher if it weren’t for the overpowering scent.
