My Life In Pictures

A lot of things happened this year, and we’re still halfway in 2012. YAY! There are still more good things to come this year. 🙂 I can really say this year is one fruitful year for me. I’m targeting growth this year, not physically because I’ve given up on that path. LOL. Things I listed here are not in chronological order. Honestly, I already forgot which happened first. @_@ Oops, my bad. 😛

My boyfriend graduated College last March and he’s in China right now, doing very well in his training. I’m so happy for him. ^_^

My College batchmates and I had an awesome reunion. I look forward to these in the future. 🙂 Our teacher treated us to dinner after the tiring day, which is such a pleasant surprise.

I bought my own pocket wifi that I can bring anywhere. I’m happy with it so far. It’s way faster than our internet connection at home and I can download movies overnight and it’ll be done by the time I wake up.

I experienced, for the first time in my life, zipline, together with my girl workmates! And some other things. I probably will talk about this in more detail in a separate post. What an unforgettable experience. And if you’re an amateur to this, well, forgive me, I’m still a newbie. Haha.

I experienced my first ever professional photoshoot as a makeup artist. I did it for free because I want more experience and I don’t think I’m worthy of any fee just yet. ~_^ I’m so glad the photographers liked my work. I can see some imperfection with the makeup, and I’ll make sure to improve in the next opportunities. They treated me to lunch and one of the models gave me a box of pizza. Oh yeah, free food is one of the best things in life!

And the last thing, which made me broke every single month, is my braces. I had it done last April, which is a bummer because just this month, my dentist had a promo that slashed 25% off the original price. Urgh. I felt like I wasted money. D: But whatever. I don’t want to think about it anymore.

Yes, I’m wearing makeup in the picture, which leads me to introducing my makeup blog, where I post looks and reviews. I take pride in taking high quality pictures and posting detailed reviews about products I’ve tried and tested. Check it out, guys! 🙂

No matter how busy I am, I still come back to blogging. I feel happier and lighter after all this talking. Somehow, I find this therapeutic. I’ve also started posting things I’ve learned from books I’ve read. If you can grab a copy, get one because they’re worth it.Till next time! ^_^

I remember doing pro bono makeup for photo shoots as well. That’s how it all started. Never be shy to ask for transpo or kit fee, though.
